Welcomes and Farewells

The Autumn semester starts on October 1, and we welcome two new students and a visitor to the lab: Alfred has arrived from Malaysia to do the second leg of his Double Degree between Kyoto University and Universiti Malaya; Ernesto has arrived to start his IESC Master`s; and Michele has joined us for around a year as a visitor during the 3rd year of his PhD at Università Politecnica delle Marche.

At the same time, we farewell Jeanny (just graduated from her IESC Master`s) and Mark (finishing his post-doctoral fellowship). 

It`s always a bitter-sweet time of year. We wish those moving-on the best with their endeavors, and those arriving a fruitful time with us.

For those of us who continue on, it`s time for another semester of exciting research!
